Tires are available M-F 8:00am - 5:30pm or Sat 8:00am - 12:00pm (or by appointment only after hours) at Interstate Auto Parts in Tioga Center until Track Opens May 2012.
NEW FOR 2012 - Hoosier Tires East is the Season Ending Point Fund Sponsor. Point Fund and Weekly payout eligibility is as follows:
DRIVERS RUNNING FOR TOP 5 IN POINTS (SS, SM and LM): ALL four tires on your car, for any racing event, must be Hoosier tires that have been purchased from Shangri-La II Motor Speedway to be eligible for Season Ending Point Fund. NO EXCEPTIONS!
WEEKLY RACING: If you are running weekly at Shangri-La II and are not top 5 in points, you are required to have 2 out of 4 tires purchased from Shangri-La II on your car for any points racing events including heat and time-trial events (This rule does NOT include 4 Cyl)
The tire minimums are to encourage teams to buy from the track to support Hoosier/Shangri-La II and are not to be confused with a weekly purchase requirement. The tires can be used as many times as deemed safe by Track Officials. As always, Track Officials have final say in all decisions for eligibility. For additional questions/concerns, please call the track office.
Tires will be available for purchase by calling the track office at 607-330-2622 as of April 1, 2012.
2012 Fuel Prices: (NO Mandatory requirement to purchase fuel from Shangri-La II at this time.)
110 Fuel: $9.00 per gallon
112 Fuel: $9.25 per gallon
