There's great news in 2010 for the INEX Legends competitors across the country- they're getting a raise in pay! It's not just the Million Dollar Race scheduled for Charlotte Motor Speedway on July 17 that will show the racers a bigger bottom line.

Z-Max, an engine additive that is part of the same corporate family as Charlotte Motor Speedway, INEX, and US Legends Cars International, the manufacturer formerly known as 600 Racing, has posted $200,000 sponsorship for both the INEX Legends national point fund and track point funds across the country. Z-Max will contribute $1,000 to the Shangri-La II Motor Speedway INEX Legends point fund.

The INEX Legends appeared twice last season at the Concrete Castle and kept the fans on the edge of their seats as they drafted Talladega-style around the big half mile. Mike Alcaro, the New Jersey driver who is the track champion at Bethel Motorsports Park, one of the smallest paved tracks in country (and the only track where you can visit the site of the original Woodstock Music Festival during the races) was the big winner. This year the miniature coupes and coaches powered by sealed Yamaha engines have booked seven dates at Shangri-La II, starting with the ROC'n Concrete Rumble on Sunday, May 16.

Other INEX Legends dates at the Concrete Castle are May 30, July 4, August 1, September 5, and October 2-3.
